David Labosky, M.D.

Dr. David Labosky grew up in Springfield, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. In high school, he was very active in sports participating in football, wrestling, and track. He attended the University of Pennsylvania for his under graduate degree and was co-captain of the wrestling team his senior year. He attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1973. He moved to San Francisco for internship and a year of general surgery residency then returned to the University of Pennsylvania to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery. In 1980 he completed a one-year fellowship in hand and micro-surgery and moved to Morgantown, West Virginia to become the head of hand and micro-surgery at West Virginia University. After 10 years at WVU he and his family moved to Colorado Springs to enter private practice of orthopedic surgery with Colorado Springs Orthopedic Group. In December of 2016 he retired from full-time orthopedic surgery and joined Incline Orthopedics to assist Dr. Devanny with patient consultations one day a week.

Dr. Labosky has always been interested in exercise and participating in sports and enjoys skiing and distance trail running, hiking, and backpacking with his family to this day. He believes that exercise is the secret to good health and encourages his patients to train aerobically on a regular basis.
